Events Centre....

The other night, Nas and Damian Marley played at the Wellington Events Centre, and people queued for ages to get inside....

Can I just say that, while the music inside sounded great, the wonderful evening outside was truly a spectacle!

Princess Bay....

Ok, so Wellington doesn't have the large fabulous shopping you can find elsewhere (although Kirkcaldies is getting better and better every year), and we don't have the largest of populations (although many would say that's a great thing).....  But what we DO have is a wild and beautiful coast line - and on a warm summer evening, with the sun slipping down behind the hills, there is nowhere in the world I would rather be!

Kiwi Style Rules!

New Zealand - you gotta love it.  We have space, natural beauty, clean air....and style.  Heaps of style!!!  When I returned from a recent trip to Europe, I came with a suitcase (ok, two suitcases) full of the latest styles.  I had raided Topshop, scoured Camden, decimated Brick Lane.... And for all my new stylish acquirements, I got quite a shock....
Because my fellow Kiwi's, they're a stylish lot.  We may not have the enormous range of shops that the major cities have, but then...perhaps that's the point?  We have to work a little harder and use a lot more imagination.

And that's what makes our style so interesting and appealing - it's  not Australian  unique.
